What are you doing on Sunday 18th March?
If your answer is something other than ‘attending Feast on the Foreshore!’, you seriously need to reconsider your options!
What is Feast on the Foreshore?
A family-friendly event held at Semaphore Foreshore Park, Feast on the Foreshore is a collaborative effort, organised by Feast, one of the largest LGBTIQ festivals in Australia, and the Semaphore Mainstreet Association.
A whole host of things, including the annual dog show, where Semaphore’s premier pooches go head to head to see who’s king of the canines! Some hunky firefighters from the South Australian Metropolitan Fire Service will be hosting a tug-of-war. If both of these options sound a bit ruff/rough (get it?) for you, just turn up with your picnic rug and tuck into some local delicacies, courtesy of some of the area’s best food vendors, or take a look at some unique wares at the artisan stalls. For the kids, there’ll be a selection of carnival rides, as well as plenty of sweet treats for them to tuck into!
Feast on the Foreshore is running from 11am – 5pm and is absolutely FREE, so bring your family and come and celebrate the LGBTIQ community.
